Customer Appreciation Program Image

At The Present Moment, we understand the importance of saying thank you. We value our loyal customers, and want to express our gratitude for your support and patronage. To show our thanks, we’d like to invite you to join our Customer Appreciation Program.

Here’s how it works:
Every time you shop at The Present Moment your purchases will be accumulated toward appreciation coupons. For every $350 you spend, you’ll receive an appreciation coupon worth $20.00. Coupons may be applied to merchandise purchases and can also be used towards workshop fees.

As a member, you’ll also receive:

  • 10% off all purchases made on the first Thursday of every month.
  • A special birthday card which entitles you to 20% off your purchases for the entire month of your birthday.
  • 10% off the books featured in the Open Book reading group.
  • Invitations to participate in a variety of members-only events and promotions throughout the year.

Program rules are available at the store. To register, stop in and request an enrollment card. You can enroll on the spot or take the card with you. Registration is quick, easy, and membership is free and there is no card to carry!

We hope you'll stop in soon and let us show our appreciation!

The Present Moment Prayers for the Planet image

Prayers for the Planet
We are living in uncertain times, and as stewards of our planet we are responsible for creating peace, harmony, and balance among all living things. At The Present Moment, we believe that each individual has the power to help heal the planet through every thought, prayer, and action.

Through our new in-store program, Prayers for the Planet, we invite you to join our collective effort to heal the planet by submitting a written prayer, positive affirmation, or statement of intention into a carved box located in the store.

Each month, we’ll deliver all written contributions to local spiritual organizations where they’ll serve as a focus for prayer and meditation by volunteers. Just imagine how the positive energy generated from these thoughts, prayers, and actions can create a new consciousness and shift what’s happening in our world today!

Update: The first batch of prayers was taken to a prayer devotional organized by a member of the Baha’l faith.

Going Green
To help cut down on waste and conserve our natural resources, The Present Moment has started a brand-new "Going Green" shopping bag program. When you shop at the store, you’ll have the option of purchasing a re-usable non-woven shopping bag for $.99. Each bag is proudly emblazoned with our name and logo, and can be used for all your shopping needs. Along with the bag, you'll receive a raffle ticket for a quarterly drawing for a $20 gift certificate. Every time you use a bag, you’ll receive another raffle ticket. Join us in going green!

An Open Book Logo

An Open Book. What could be better than finishing a really great book? How about gathering with others who have read the same book to share your reactions and ideas? We call our book group “An Open Book” for several reasons. First, it’s an open reading list, including both fiction and non-fiction and lots of different genres. Second, it’s an open invitation; you don’t have to make a committment to read every book we select. Finally, it’s an open discussion with a flexible schedule, so you don’t have to lock yourself into a specific date and time to meet about the book.

Each book has two meeting time options: one in the morning and one in the evening. You simply register for the one that fits your schedule best. We post the current title and meeting times on our “What’s Going On?” page and you can call the store to register for a discussion.
