Since opening in mid-2006, the mission of The Present Moment has been to bring inspiration to people and build community through unique merchandise, enriching workshops and discussion groups, and exciting events. Today, while the retail store is no longer open, The Present Moment lives on with a broad slate of offerings for both the individual and the community it serves.

Susan Opeka, an inspiration catalyst, entrepreneur, connector, and creative resource is the founder and owner of The Present Moment. After a fulfilling corporate career and a series of life-changing events, she created The Present Moment to bring inspiration and upliftment to others. Launched first as a retail store, the business has become the “go-to” source of information for inspirational events, a network of trusted professionals, a series of groups for success-inspired individuals, and other items of interest to the community. In addition, Susan now advises business owners, solo professionals and private practitioners on marketing, personal branding and growth strategies.
